（1）Beeston

Beeston 镇位于学校西面大约1-2公里，这个地方大多以居住为住，所以在这边的商店和超市有很多的。超市以Tesco最为综合，还有各种Wilkison以及其他的商店。这边有很多银行的分行，还有卖蔬菜水果的啊，肉店啊，书店啊，卖小玩意的，自行车店，出租车店， 酒吧，卖冷冻食品的Iceland，卖礼品的，邮局，火车站，KFC等等吧，还有对于我们中国人来说最重要的就是有两家中国超市和3家中国餐馆。尤其中国超市是很重要的，很多Tesco这种超市卖不到的什么羊肉片啊各种中国调料啊还有干货啊咸菜方便面基本上能满足你的生活，电饭锅火锅也有卖的，有时候还卖一些中国的蔬菜。这些商店大都在那条high road主干道上。

优点：Beeston的整体环境应该还不错，不会很吵闹，治安算一般虽然不是最好的但挺祥和的，这边的房子价格也还可以接受外表还都可以，有便宜的也有稍微贵一点的。在这里生活是很便利的。

缺点：治安不是最好的，对于工科的学生来讲有点缺陷就是它离上课的地方有点远而且没有到达校内的公交车，离市中心那边比较远但是可以坐车

（2）Dunkirk

Dunkirk 位于学校东门的南部一片地区，和东门挨着，这个地方也基本上都是住房，但是没有什么太大的超市和其他商店。在这边生活的人基本上都得去Beeston镇的超市去购物，一般便捷的方法是直接让超市送货或者坐公交车去购物。距离大约得2-3公里，步行的话还是比较远的，普通的骑车单程也得用上10-15分钟。

优点：离工科上课的地方很近很近，步行5分钟，所以说在学术上相当的方便。

缺 点：治安同比其他区域是比较乱的，家里有人的状况下还都被偷抢，平时外出时必须把 门窗关好。房子以及周围环境一般或者偏下，当然也有好有坏。

（3）Wollaton Park

Wollaton Park是位于学校北面的一座开放的公园，里面可以打高尔夫球，而且还有鹿，环境很不错，是周末放松运动的好去处。在周围有一片住宿区，这片地区就是诺丁汉的“富人区”。

优点：周围环境好，房子一般都不错，不论装修还是设施，治安是诺丁汉这边最好的地方，交通上相对还是便利一些但不如Dunkirk。

缺点：整体价格可能有点贵，当然具体也要看情况。生活上便利方面不如Beeston，离学校的其他地方还是有些距离的

（4）Lenton

Lenton位于学校的东面一带地区，交通上离主校区和Jubilee校区差不多的距离，在两个校区都有课程的同学可以作为一个选择，而且离市中心的距离很近。

优点：Lenton可以说是据这三个地方综合距离最近的住处。生活便利听说还可以，比Dunkirk要好一些，这边有Sainsburry超市。

缺点：分为新老两个区，靠近市中心的区治安相对好一些。房价大体来说貌似比Beeston的要贵，而且离主校区其他地方的距离要比Dunkirk远。

 

Beeston

Beeston is one of the most popular suburbs of Nottingham. It is right next to the University West Entrance but further away from the city centre. Students make up a smaller proportion of the population than in other areas like Lenton and Dunkirk. Popular with undergrads happy to live away from the crowds and postgrads.

Dunkirk

 

Home to many students, Dunkirk has a cafe, pubs, takeaways, a convenience store and religious centres, very close to the South entrance and QMC.

· Safe predominantly student area

· Good value for money

· Close to QMC, tennis centre and Park campus

· Cinema and chain restaurant short walk away

Wollaton

Wollaton is a quieter residential area that offers a handful of pubs, eateries, shops and leisure pursuits, whilst the wonderful Wollaton Park provides a lovely backdrop and a nice place to walk off Sunday lunches.

· Excellent transport links

· Close to QMC, Jubilee and Park campus

· Safe mixed community

· Good supermarkets, takeaways, restaurants and Wollaton Hall nearby

· Good value for money

Lenton

Lenton is a popular area close to the city centre and has a number of amenities that make it a great area for student living. With all the basics including banks, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, pubs, religious centres, restaurants, shops and takeaways, Lenton provides all you need.

· Excellent transport links

· Pubs, bars, takeaways, independent cinema, gyms & pool

· Close to Jubilee and Park campus
